I know you’re expecting an introduction to Hyperjabber. Something that tells you what it is, what you can expect, and why you should read it, but the truth is I have no fucking idea. This thing is a creative itch that’s harassed and tempted me for decades. Aborted attempts to scratch this itch are scattered across hard drives and stuffed into boxes crammed with paper. I’ve tried fiction, journals, essays, technical books, and really bad poetry, but the itch persists. I’ve discovered that music, games, and sex can soothe the itch, but in the dark hours of the early morning it squirms back into my brain, and I swing my legs out of a warm bed and wander downstairs to a cold keyboard.
